Prophets in Stereo is a Bucks County based band formed in the late summer of 2008. Singer and songwriter James Seward, guitarist Chris Covatta, bassist Ben Cleal and drummer Dan Quill quickly developed an unique and progressive sound reminiscent of their multitude of influences, primarily bluegrass, jazz, and rock. The project is songwriter James Seward's first endeavor into a full band scenario since releasing two critically acclaimed folk albums with Steve Garvey of the legendary punk band The Buzzcocks. Prophets in Stereo recorded their first record full length album in the winter of 2009, which was produced by Andrew Weiss, whose credits include Ween, and the Rollins Band. The albums release date is set for July 30,2009. Prophets in stereo will also have two songs, "About to Break" and "For You" from our CD featured in a Documentary called 'When Jane & Johnny Come Marching Homeless' It's documentary about the many issues our veterans face when they return 'home' from war and military service. We also have a song "about to break" featured in a Billabong surf video .Billabong NZ Sumbawa Trip 2009 - SURF2SURF

J.Cola, 1/3 of CBC, teams up with Forestville, MD native Dutch Sponge Sweetz to form a Pimpin’, Playin’ and Mackin’ super group. With Dutch's country twang, hard core pimp flow and JCola’s smooth jazz style lyrics and hooks this team is definitely one to remember. Teaming up 3 years ago, they had an almost instant chemistry which would lead you to believe they have been working together for years on end. These two are able to stand out due to their creative and complex compositions about love, lust and the hard life of women on the street. Using real life experiences combined with compelling stories, Sponge and Cola have managed to find the perfect combination that excites the interest of both males and females. This winning formula allows them to transcend the hardcore gangsta rap scene and replace the hate and violence with love. These two shocked the DC underground scene with their first release “Colaman hosted by Dutch Sweetz: No Soft Drinks”, now they team up once again to bring you their latest installment “When Love Turns to Lust” which promises to be filled with gripping love stories and hard core pimpin’ tales.

In Washington, D.C on January 3, 1989, Christian Rap Artist 'David' was born. Being the second oldest of six kids, raised in a single-parent household with his mother, David faced many struggles and challenges in the poverty of the inner-city. Not really having much growing up lead David into family feuds, psychiatric hospitals, group homes, crimes, and eventually being arrested. David wasn't very athletic in his early stages but still played basketball, football, and baseball. He lost all interest in sports when he found out he could rap. Through all of lifes twists and turns, David continued to rap and write, perfecting his gift. After dropping out of high school at 16, David went to Job Corps and received his G.E.D looking to better his life. Unfortunately David was back in the streets after attending Job Corps and there is where he met God. After forming a solid relationship with the Lord, David went into the military, but his military career was unsuccessful. After going through family problems, bad relationships, suicidal depressed stages, surviving a miscarriage, being homeless for a period of time, and many mistakes and failures, David is now strong in the Lord and pursuing his dream of glorifying God, and bringing healing & the Love of God to all people through his music.

KIL

Philadelphia music producer and writer Kil has been a hip hop head since 1984, when his mother took him to see the movie Beat Street. That movie started his love, passion and pursuit of the hip hop culture. He began writing rhymes in ’84 and started Djing in 86 when he got his two turntables, a mixer and a mic. Daily, Kil would practice his craft. Whether it was break dancing, DJing or MCing, his commitment to hip hop was undeniable. It wasn’t until his freshmen year at Morgan State University where he truly found his place in hip hop…producing. Starting off with a Tascam 4 track recorder and a Gemini 8 second sampler mixer, then, graduating to the Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard to now mastering the Akai MPC 2000XL, Kil’s style has grown from being just a beat maker to becoming a complete music producer. Also, while attending Morgan State, Kil hosted Baltimore’s 1 hip hop show “Strictly Hip Hop” on WEAA 88.9 FM every Friday night from midnight to 5am for over 5 years. Kil has produced for such artists as Osei Morland (acclaimed MC and Producer), Queens MC, Sekani (writer of MTV’s Hip Hopera “Carmen”), Kyana (Kil produced “Promised Land” off her debut CD “We Will Not Fall, C. Clear (Kil produced 4 tracks off her debut CD “A Soldier’s Story”), Brooklyn MC, Vegas (producing his entire album "The Grey Area" coming 2010), Philadelphia MC, Khalil Byrd (producing his entire album "Grown Man Talk" coming 2010), Philly MC Driz as well as working with talented songwriters such as Sean “Mocha” Banks (Dru Hill, Black Buddafly) and Tanya Kilpatrick. Kil recently produced “Rude Bastards” for critically acclaimed hip hop group M.O.P. for their 5th official studio album “Foundation”. Kil is also a talented writer who is presently co-authoring a book with Dr. Roslyn Black on marriages in the black community and writing various screenplays.
